A holiday open house at Ladew Topiary Gardens in Monkton, where the 18th-century Manor House is dressed for the season by local designers and garden clubs (a decades-long tradition), some of the gardens are lit for a winter stroll, and a Christmas marketplace runs alongside. More an elegant decorated-estate visit than a large lights display.
