A Texas Tech tradition since the 1950s: with the flip of a switch, more than 25,000 lights illuminate the buildings around Memorial Circle and the Science Quadrangle to open the holiday season. The kickoff ceremony brings choirs, a carillon concert and fireworks, and the campus stays lit for evening strolls and photos through the season.
