Ceres opens its beloved Christmas Tree Lane - the decorated blocks off Moffett Road beside Smyrna Park - with a city-run kickoff: an evening parade through town followed by festivities at the Ceres Community Center with live music, food vendors and photos with Santa. After opening night the lane's decorated homes glow nightly through the season as a slow-drive (or stroll) tradition.
