Dauphin County's historic Fort Hunter Mansion, on the Susquehanna north of downtown Harrisburg, is decorated for the holidays with fresh greens arranged by the Garden Club of Harrisburg. Weekends bring a popular toy-train exhibit in the Centennial Barn, decorated Christmas trees in the Tavern House, the 'Fort Couture' dress-form displays and a kids-only holiday shop, with special after-dark Candlelight Mansion Tours of the halls decked for Christmas past.
