More than 65,000 lights are strung through over 334 trees across 22 block-faces of Old Town Fort Collins - in the tree-tops, along sidewalks and down alleyways - creating a walkable winter district around the historic Old Town Square. The season opens with a free lighting ceremony featuring live brass and choir music, and the lights then glow nightly deep into winter.
