East Peoria's signature holiday tradition and one of central Illinois's largest drive-through light shows, now in its 41st year. From the entrance in VFW Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road, cars wind past more than three million lights and the majority of the Parade of Lights floats - a 160-foot Steam Train, the USS East Peoria, lighted arches and circus animals, a Candy Cane Factory, a Western town, Space Land and Prehistoric Land - all set to music broadcast at 88.1 FM. The season opens with the Parade of Lights through downtown East Peoria.
