A mile-long after-dark walk through the Kansas City Zoo in Swope Park lit by enormous hand-built Chinese-lantern light sculptures, produced with LEKTRIK ART and presented by Saint Luke's. Each year carries a new theme (2024 'Hidden Treasure', 2025 'Time Traveler'), with Santa greeting families nightly and cocoa and concessions along the route. The event runs after the animals have bedded down, so it is a lights experience rather than an animal visit.
