Owensboro's expanded Hometown Christmas turns the award-winning Smothers Park and the downtown Ohio riverfront into a free holiday wonderland - sparkling trees, light tunnels and festive displays along Veterans Blvd, anchored by a Dancing Lights show that plays every 15 minutes each evening. The city shifted its signature displays downtown after retiring Holiday in the Park at Legion Park.
