L.L.Bean's flagship campus in downtown Freeport lights up its Discovery Park for the free Northern Lights celebration: a large decorated balsam fir (a 35-foot tree from McClure's Tree Farm in 2025) lit at an opening-night ceremony, a new Winter Spectacular projection show cast onto Camp L.L.Bean every hour and half-hour from 4-8pm, plus Santa visits, live music, hot cocoa and photo ops among the lights. Part of Freeport's wider holiday season alongside the Sparkle Celebration.
