The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, a Norway Spruce (75 feet in 2025) topped with a 900-pound Swarovski star of over 3 million crystals and about 50,000 multi-colored lights, stands over the Prometheus statue on Center Plaza. After the ceremonial lighting (traditionally the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving), the tree is lit daily from 5am to midnight through early-to-mid January.
