West Haven's 5-acre town green glows for the season with the city's official Christmas tree in multicolored LEDs, garland and large lit snowflakes on the John C. Ireland Bandstand, and decorated Victorian lampposts throughout. A modest, free civic display presented by the city and the West Haven United volunteer coalition - a pleasant evening stroll rather than a mega-display.
