A after-dark Asian lantern festival through the Sedgwick County Zoo: thousands of hand-built, silk-wrapped illuminated lantern sculptures of real and mythical plants, animals and creatures line the zoo paths. In its fifth year in 2025, it is a lantern-light experience rather than an animal visit, since the animals are bedded down and indoor exhibits are closed.
