The City of Akron's Lock 3 park anchors downtown's Winterblast season with holiday lights, a lit tree, the returning O'Neil's holiday window displays (Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan) and Archie the Snowman, plus a large outdoor ice rink, fire pits, a holiday market and food and drink. The season opens the day after Thanksgiving with the Welcome Santa Illuminated Parade down S. Main St., fireworks and the lighting of Lock 3.
