Dane County's free-admission zoo on Lake Wingra transforms after dark into a walk-through wonderland of more than one million lights, with the carousel spinning and Santa on hand nightly. It takes roughly an hour to walk the whole zoo and see the displays; the animals are bedded down, so it is a lights experience rather than an animal visit.
